Terms of Use
The English version of this page governs.
1. Who we are
Kwikido (the "Platform", "we", "us") is a home and general services marketplace being prepared for launch in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Platform is currently operated by its founder in a personal capacity while the operating company is being incorporated. Upon incorporation, these Terms, and all rights and obligations under them, will be assumed by the incorporated entity without further notice, and references to "we" will be read as references to that entity.
2. What the Platform offers today
The Platform is in a pre-launch phase. At this stage it provides: (a) information about the service we are building; (b) a preview of how booking will work, which does not create bookings, reservations, or any contract; and (c) a registration process through which service companies ("Providers") may apply to join the Platform ahead of launch. No customer bookings are accepted and no payments are collected during the pre-launch phase.
3. Our role as an intermediary
Kwikido is a marketplace intermediary. We do not perform, supervise, or guarantee any services ourselves. When the Platform launches, contracts for the performance of services will be formed directly between the customer and the Provider concerned. Providers are independent businesses and are not employees, agents, or partners of Kwikido.
4. Provider applications
By submitting a Provider application you represent and warrant that: (a) all information you provide, including company details, contact information, service descriptions, prices, coverage areas, and documents, is accurate, current, and complete; (b) you are authorised to act on behalf of the company you register; and (c) you will hold, at the time your services are made available to customers, every licence, permit, and insurance required under the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai to perform the services you list.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. We may accept, decline, or request further information regarding any application at our discretion. You may withdraw your application at any time by contacting us.
5. Fees and commission
Registration on the Platform is free of charge. No subscription, listing, or onboarding fee applies during the pre-launch phase.
Upon commercial launch of the Platform, each booking completed through the Platform will be subject to a platform commission of twenty percent (20%) of the gross booking value. The commission is deducted from the amounts payable to the Provider; the customer pays the price listed at the time of booking and nothing above it. Prices listed by Providers are inclusive of the commission. We will give Providers reasonable advance notice of any change to the commission rate, and continued use of the Platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised rate.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) submit false, misleading, or infringing information or documents; (b) interfere with the operation or security of the Platform; (c) copy, scrape, or reuse Platform content or data other than as permitted by these Terms; or (d) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual property
The Kwikido name, wordmark, and all content, design, and software comprising the Platform are owned by us or our licensors. No rights are granted to you other than the limited right to view and use the Platform in accordance with these Terms. By submitting content as part of an application, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use it for the purposes of assessing your application and operating the Platform.
8. Third-party services
The Platform is hosted, and application submissions are processed and stored, by third-party infrastructure providers acting on our behalf. Their handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis during the pre-launch phase. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, as to the availability, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of the Platform, and we do not warrant any launch date, feature set, or level of customer demand.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, and given that the Platform is currently provided free of charge, our aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Platform or these Terms shall not exceed one hundred UAE Dirhams (AED 100). Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time, including in connection with the incorporation of the operating company and the commercial launch of the Platform. The current version, with its effective date, will always be published on this page. Material changes affecting registered Providers will be notified by email or WhatsApp to the contact details supplied in their application.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform.
